For Partners

Building strong relationships with its teaming partners is an ADI priority. Our track record of successful project management reflects the collaborative environment that operates on all ADI worksites. Open, honest communication and the honouring of commitments are basic to our relationships with partners (and customers and employees). The result has been a growing list of leading Australian and international companies joining ADI as teaming partners in major projects.

The Huon Class minehunter project is testament to the cooperative spirit we espouse. It required ADI to bring together 2000 sub contractors including international leaders such as Intermarine, BAE Systems and Thales Underwater Systems (formerly Thomson Marconi Sonar). The success of this highly complex project owes much to a remarkable team effort.

Other notable ADI partners include:

  • Gibbs & Cox / Thales Underwater Systems / Lockheed Martin (Australia's guided missile frigate upgrade)
  • Australia's Defence Science and Technology Organisation (munitions and world leading mine countermeasures)
  • General Electric (marine gas turbine modules)
  • Fabrique Nationale (Minimi machine gun)
  • Raytheon (Australian Defence Air Traffic System)
  • Steyr Mannlicher (Steyr rifle)
  • Tenix (ANZAC ship project)
  • Hodgdon (propellant sales in the US)
  • Oshkosh Truck Corporation (ILS of High Mobility Engineering Excavator [HMEE] in the US)
  • Kongsberg (Penguin missile)
  • Intermarine / BAE Systems / Thales Underwater Systems (coastal minehunter project)
