Tiger Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter

Australia's military services are a showcase of ADI's products and services.

ADI's comprehensive range of defence products cover land, aerospace, naval, joint command and intelligence, ordnance and logistics.

On land, our capabilities extend from command, control, computers, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, electronic warfare, (C4ISREW), guided weapons and soldier combat systems through to military vehicles, weapons and calibration.

Our aerospace activities encompass aircraft related production, aerospace services, C4ISREW and guided weapons. In recognition of our strength in aerospace systems, Eurocopter, through its subsidiary Australian Aerospace, has selected ADI as a major Australian partner for the Australian Defence Force's Tiger Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter project.

ADI's naval capabilities include mine countermeasures, ship building and ship design, upgrading, maintenance and refit as well as the supply of specialist naval and marine equipment, guided weapons and C4ISREW. ADI built the Royal Australian Navy's world leading Huon Class minehunter ships and is upgrading the combat systems of its guided missile frigates.

Joint command and intelligence capabilities cover C4ISREW, systems integration and support services. ADI has supplied the Joint Command Support System (JCSS) for the Australian Defence Force and the Joint Military Decision Support System (JMDSS) for the Royal Thai Supreme Command.

The air defence system used by the Five Power Defence Arrangement in Malaysia was supplied and installed by ADI. We have provided the Australian Defence Force's first Joint Task Force Headquarters (Afloat) for the RAN's amphibious transports.

Ordnance products cover munitions, propellants and explosives and chemicals. Munitions capabilities include aircraft bombs, artillery/naval gun ammunition and cannon ammunition. Explosive products include pyrotechnics, rocket motors and safety critical products.

In the area of logistics, capabilities encompass logistic services and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS). ADI has a ten year contract to manage the warehousing, maintenance and distribution of explosive ordnance for the Australian Defence Force.
