ADI's new generation command and control systems are designed to meet the complex operating challenges of today's military forces. These systems enhance a command team's effectiveness in planning and executing operations at strategic, operational and tactical levels.

ADI's command and control systems enable command teams to work faster and more effectively as information is clearly presented using a multi source real-time integrated situation display. Additional capabilities provided by ADI's command and control systems include:

• Decision and planning aids to formulate and evaluate courses of action
• Automation of routine tasks
• Simulation and war gaming functions
• Automatic sensor and message processing for the rapid exchange and display of information
• Easy access to intelligence and database information
• Powerful tools for briefings and presentations
• Interoperability with own and allied forces
• Standards based military formatted messaging

ADI's command and control systems are installed in commands throughout the Australian Defence Force at over 40 locations on more than 200 servers serving over 3000 workstations. ADI systems are also installed and operational on HMAS MANOORA and HMAS KANIMBLA as part of a forward deployed Joint Headquarters. Our systems are based on commercial information technology and provide a true 'open systems' environment. They are designed for flexibility and easy integration of additional functions tailored to the specific requirements of the customer.

ADI Delivers Land Based Solutions

Systems tailored specifically to land operations have been successfully delivered and are currently in operation with the Royal Australian Army and Australia's Special Forces Group. ADI developed systems include:

• The Special Operations Command Support System (SOCSS) for Australia's Special Forces Group
• The Battlefield Command Support System (Intelligence, GIS) components for the Royal Australian Army
