Maintenance
Aircraft Maintenance Training
Electronic Systems Training Systems Development and Integration Agency (TSDIA) is also contracted to provide training, which includes maintenance training. See Aircraft CBT for more information.
- In 1996 Lockheed Martin awarded a contract to the ADI TSDIA to modify existing C130J Hercules training materials to suit the Royal Australian Airforce C130J-30 Hercules type. This involved modifying pilot, loadmaster and ground maintenance personnel, computer based training, exams and paper based materials to suit the Royal Australian Airforce unique C130J-30 Hercules. As part of this contract, a training management system called Computer Managed Instruction System (CMIS) was developed by ADI to support the Royal Australian Airforce C130J training.
- In September 2001, ADI was contracted to provide C-130H aircraft maintenance training courseware, including development of new training materials, for 285 Squadron at Richmond, New South Wales.
- In October 2002, ADI was contracted by Lockheed Martin to develop an information system to manage the Italian Airforce C130J Hercules training delivery and record keeping system based in Pisa Italy. This system is called Training Information and Management System (TMIS) and is based on the ADI developed Computer Managed Instruction System (CMIS) now currently in use by the C130J Hercules Squadron of the Royal Australian Airforce.
