Mission Support and Planning

ADI's suite of new generation planning support tools has been developed to meet the needs of each phase of the mission planning cycle. Our experience with different platforms has enabled us to refine the mission support and planning systems fielded in the 1990s into leading edge desktop and portable applications.

The mission cycle consists of four main phases:

• Tasking receipt
• Pre mission planning
• Mission support
• Post mission analysis and reporting

ADI's mission planning tools enable users to conduct operations faster and with an increased level of success throughout the mission cycle. Additional capabilities provided by ADI's mission support and planning systems include:

• Standards based military formatted messaging tools to facilitate task receipt and post mission reporting
• Pre mission tools - 2D and 3D mission preview, sensor planning aids, pre mission briefing tools, situation awareness, map preparation and creation of data loads for the mission platform
• Control and management of radios or data links provides information transfer to the mission platform during execution of the mission
• Mission data analysis, replay and debriefing tools
• Integration with standard office automation tools

ADI Delivers Mission Planning and Support Systems

ADI has been developing mission planning and support systems in Australia since 1996. Our early generation system integrated a segment of the United States Navy's JMCIS to provide Australia's first locally developed support system for the Royal Australian Air Force's maritime patrol aircraft.

ADI's new generation mission planning and support system, the Joint Mission Management System (JMMS), builds on our earlier experience to produce the Ground Mission Management system for Australia's new Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter.
