Communication Systems

Overview

ADI is a leading provider of state-of-the-art communications equipment for the Royal Australian Navy.

ADI's Electronic Systems Group recently developed and integrated, as part of JP8001, a deployable Joint Task Force Headquarters (JTFHQ(Afloat)) capability. This joint command and intelligence system was installed initially aboard HMAS MANOORA and HMAS KANIMBLA, land deployable systems were also installed. The system design required the completion and integration of eight C4I systems, enabling communication between these systems and the ships' existing systems. An interface with INMARSAT B terminals was also provided.
