Hoistable Masts

ADI provides specialist manufacture and in-service support of 'high integrity' equipment for submarines and ships.

The hoistable masts for Collins Class submarines were designed by the Italian company Calzoni SpA and manufactured under licence by ADI in Bendigo.

This equipment includes:

• Radar mast
• Electronic surveillance masts (microwave and sub microwave)
• Snorkel mast

Extensive expertise and facilities now exist to provide complete in service support to the Royal Australian Navy by ADI.

The service is fully licenced and supported by Calzoni, Italy, partners to Kollmorgen, USA.
