GE Aircraft Engines - LM2500 Marine Modules

ADI's Bendigo facility provides specialist manufacturing of major elements of the GE LM2500 marine module. This program commenced in the mid 1980s and quickly moved to a sole source relationship for the world market. ADI is now the sole supplier to GE USA of the entire marine module (excluding the turbine).

ADI's specialist skills and resources required to fulfil this contract include:

• Floor boring capacity to 29m x 7m x 4.8m
• Specialist fabrication and machining capabilities
• Complex assembly
• Project management
• Logistic management skills
• 3,500 items/sub-assemblies
• Seven source countries
• 105 vendors
• Quality accreditation to ISO 9001
