Command and Control Systems

ADI's new generation command and control systems are designed to meet the complex operating challenges of today's military forces. These systems enhance a command team's effectiveness in planning and executing operations at strategic, operational and tactical levels.

ADI's command and control systems enable command teams to work faster and more effectively as information is clearly presented using a multi source real-time integrated situation display. Additional capabilities provided by an ADI command and control system include:

• Decision and planning aids to formulate and evaluate courses of action
• Automation of routine tasks
• Simulation and war gaming functions
• Automatic sensor and message processing for the rapid exchange and display of information
• Easy access to intelligence and database information
• Powerful tools for briefings and presentations

ADI's command and control systems are installed in all commands throughout the Australian Defence Force - at 40 locations on more than 200 servers serving over 3000 workstations. ADI systems are also installed and operational on HMAS MANOORA and HMAS KANIMBLA. Our systems are based on commercial information technology and provide a true 'open systems' environment designed for flexibility and easy integration of additional functions tailored to the specific requirements of the customer.

ADI Delivers Solutions for Joint Forces

Systems tailored specifically for joint operations have been successfully delivered and are currently in operation with the Australian Defence Force and the Royal Thai Supreme Command. ADI developed systems include:

• The Joint Command Support System (JCSS) for the Australian Defence Force. ADI's Java based command and control system, Cheetah, is a key component of the JCSS.
• The Joint Military Decision Support System for the Royal Thai Supreme Command.
