.50 Calibre F1 Ball Ammunition

ADI's .50 Cal F1 ball ammunition conforms to the design parameters of NATO STANAG and is able to be used in all .50 Cal NATO weapons.

	ADI's .50 Cal F1 Ball ammunition currently in use with the Australian Defence Force

ADI's .50 Cal F1 ball ammunition is manufactured under licence at ADI's Benalla facility in Victoria, and is optimised for use by the Australian Defence Force.

ADI's .50 Cal F1 ball ammunition employs a specially designed propellant with very low temperature coefficients of ballistics to ensure velocities and pressures do not change greatly with changes in ambient temperature. The powder has extremely clean burning characteristics and is an excellent replacement for ammunition of this nature that exhibits barrel fouling. The composition is primarily nitrocellulose with added stabiliser, ballistic moderants and flash suppressant.

ADI's .50 Cal F1 ball ammunition can be supplied in the following standard packaging configurations:

• Linked ball - 100 rounds linked and packed in a single M2A1 BAM
• Linked 4B1T (M17 tracer) - 100 rounds linked and packed in a single M2A1 BAM

ADI's .50 Cal F1 ball ammunition will be shipped in standard military packages conforming to the UN recommendations for the packaging of dangerous goods.
