Explosive Ordnance Services for the Australian Defence Force

ADI has a long established business in the manufacturing of Explosive Ordnance (EO) and related products for the Department of Defence. EO Services provides a range of storage, maintenance, distribution, disposal and related services for Australian Defence Force (ADF) explosive ordnance (EO).

The scope of services includes:

• Operating numerous Defence EO storage, maintenance and disposal sites across Australia
• Delivering EO to the ADF in the field and transferring onto naval ships
• Unloading commercial ammunition vessels
• Intermediate repair and maintenance of naval gun systems
• Maintenance of gauges
• Provision and maintenance of EO technical publications
• Construction of EO support facilities in five different locations across Australia
• Similar work of a commercial nature in support of the explosives industry, government and statutory authorities
